Individual Therapy
I believe that individual therapy is an opportunity for self-exploration and giving yourself the space to heal and grow. I want to support you in finding solutions to problems you’re currently experiencing and help you achieve the life changes that you are looking for. I have clinical experience working with individuals with a range of presenting concerns including, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, emotional issues, addiction, and trauma, as well as other day-to-day stressors.
We will work collaboratively to explore your needs, to solve current problems, and address the reasons that have led you to pursue therapy. Together, we can re-connect you with your strengths, improve skills to manage challenging feelings, and feel confident to express yourself authentically.

EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life events. Trauma symptoms can manifest in many different ways including through panic attacks, depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and nightmares, to name a few. EMDR targets these symptoms and supports the brain in processing traumatic memories. Bilateral stimulation through touch, sound, or eye-movement is used, which activates each brain hemisphere and links up neural networks. This provides relief from distressing emotions, and allows healing in the body and mind to resume it's natural process.
Through extensive research, EMDR has been proven to be highly effective for trauma and other presenting symptoms. Therefore, EMDR therapies can be completed in fewer sessions and is helpful in conjunction with psychotherapy.
